Dua of Shaykh Muqbil’s (rahimahullah) Mother

dammaj-sheikh-muqbilIn her biographical account of her father, Umm ‘Abdillaah Al-Waadi’iyyah said:

“His father died while he was young and he didn’t know him. So he grew up as an orphan and under the care of his mother for a period of time. She would ask him to work to make money and order him to look at the state of his community so that he could be like them. But he would turn away from this and say: ‘I will go out to study.’ So she would say: ‘May Allaah guide you.’ (hadaakAllaah)She would supplicate for him to be guided, as several women who were around at that time informed me.

Perhaps her supplication coincided with the time when supplications are accepted since he became one of the guided, guiding others.”

Houthis reject the cease-fire, deny Yemeni Army entry into Dammaaj and attack the Masjid again

Day 93:

siege of dammajThere was a mutual agreement among the representatives of all parties (the Government, the Military, Dammaaj and the houthis) for a cease-fire that was to start today at 6 a.m.. The agreement was for the Yemeni Military to come today and all positions be turned over to them, along with the houthi check points and roads to be opened back up (thus removing us from the houthis siege).

Instead the houthis denied the Yemeni Army to enter Dammaaj only on the condition they would not bring heavy artillery and the soldiers would only enter with a gun and a clip vest.

Approximately 9:15 a.m the houthis began yet another attack on the main Masjid and surrounding area. As they have done before they bombard the Masjid and its surrounding areas with tank, cannon, mortar shells and anti-aircraft artillery. The shelling usually includes the areas near the emergency shelter for the women and children and they deliberately aim for our main water supply for those that live in the area of the main Masjid. Al-Hamdulillah only some suffered minor injuries.

Yesterday the Tribal Committee headed by Al-Maqdashi came with papers about the cease-fire agreement for Sheikh Yahyaa. They brought along with them some supplies from the Government for us, may Allah reward them. The houthis continued their sniper fire throughout the night, even firing a B-10 cannon at some of the students in the Watan area. No one was hurt Al-Hamdulillah.

Houthis Threaten the President and Whoever is in Agreement with him

Day 87:

darul-hadith-dammajThe houthis refused to sign a cease-fire agreement from the government. Sheikh Yahyaa has already consented and signed it. The President stated that he will enter the Yemeni military forces to resolve this conflict. The houthis respond by threatening the President with a war that will make him and his associates shed tears. Also the houthis are using a government military plane to transport their injured to San’aa. They are currently fighting wars in Dammaaj, Hashid and Jawf (another province in Sa’dah) all at one time. Today the committee came and brought a truck load of food and medicine. In the process of the delivery one student was martyred by houthi sniper fire, which in turn forced members of the committee to take cover in a trench. The houthis pursued the delivery truck with mortar shells

Also today the houthis continued their heretical act of shelling the Masjid and its surrounding areas during the prayer after the khutbahtul Jum’ah.

At this time it is 9:30pm here there is a lot of very loud speeches going on. Sometimes the Mashaayikh or some of the students give talks over a loudspeaker. Usualy every night the houthis give their talks and play their music during the late hours of the night to the early hours of the morning. Almost like a radio program. Also this night the houthis are randomly shelling, firing the machine guns and firing the 37mm anti-aircraft gun.

Houthis supported in their massive attack on Ahlus Sunnah in Kitaaf by Yemeni Military Soldiers & Government Weapons

Update 25 Safr 1435h: houthis supported in their massive attack on Ahlus Sunnah in Kitaaf by Yemeni Military Soldiers and Government Weapons

Day: 81

darul-hadith-dammajToday started just like the last 80 days: sniper fire, occasional heavy artillery, etc. Another committee made an attempt to enter Dammaaj today and they were refused entry by the houthis. Apparently the committee wanted to bring the ICRC in with them and the houthis denied them as usual.

In the attack on the main Masjid after the Jum’ah prayer yesterday, two children were hurt from the cannon artillery fired by the houthis. As well an elderly man was shot by sniper fire.

In another story, one of the houthi members in Sa’dah stabbed his mother to death and critically injured his sister. The altercation occurred yesterday when his mother refused to give her son (the houthi) her sheep when he demanded. The houthi wanted to sell the sheep to give the money in charity to the houthi cause in regret that he didn’t participate in the war on Dammaaj. Link to article in Arabic

Last night’s attack in Kitaaf consisted of 8 state of the art tanks or more, rockets, a number of cannons and a large number of soldiers. Sheikh Jameel and the students had to abandon the Masjid due to the intensity of the attack. Kitaaf is another institute of Ahlus Sunnah in Sa’dah like Dammaaj. There are daily lessons and a number of students who live near the Masjid (the institute). Sheikh Jameel As-Suluwi is the head teacher in the Kitaaf institute. Thousands of Muslims have gathered there to attempt to lift the siege and stop the heinous acts of terrorism from the houthis on the inhabitants of Dammaaj. There are claims that there are political figures who benefit from keeping this atrocity going (article link). Allah the most High says:

Consider not that Allah is unaware of that which the Dhaalimoon (polytheists, wrong doers, oppressors) do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror. {14:042}
